Woman injured in Indian forces firing along LoC

Rawalpindi: One woman got injured on Wednesday night as Indian forces again resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baroh area of Bhimber sector, reports Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Pakistani forces responded effectively to the Indian violation of cease fire.

According to the military media wing, Indian army on Wednesday night again violated cease fire along LoC and targeted civilians of Baroh area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Tension between two countries, i.e. Pakistan and India, reached peak after Uri attack, after which India claimed to have carried out surgical strikes along Line of Control in which two Pakistani soldiers were martyred. However, it remained unsuccessful to provide evidence of the ‘strike’.

Afterwards, Indian forces also violated cease fire several times.

A few weeks back, a man was also killed as a result of unprovoked firing by Indian security personnel along LoC.
