Wife of former US President, Nancy Reagan dies at 94

LOS ANGELES: On Sunday, according to a spokesperson for the Reagan Presidential Library and Foundation in Simi Valley, wife of former US President and first lady Nancy Reagan died at the age of 94.

Her spokesperson, Joanne Drake stated the reason of her death to be congestive heart failure.

Her matrimonial time with the US President Ronald Reagan kept up till 52 years until his death in 2004.

An ex actress, she was Reagan’s best counsellor and content guardian on his expedition from actor to governor of California to president of the United States.

She was always beside him and to his side after he was shot in 1981 by a prospective murderer, and far along underwent his approximately decade-long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

In latest years she broke with fellow Republicans in assisting stem cell investigation as a way to conceivably find a therapy for Alzheimer’s.
