Panama Papers: investigations launched in entire world except Pakistan: Imran

Islamabad: PTI chairman Imran Khan has said who will hold accountable those at helm of affairs in Pakistan for siphoning off their money to off shore accounts.

“Names of politicians of Pakistan have also appeared in Panama papers. Will no one catch them. Those at helm of affairs in the country remained involved in money laundering. They committed offence and are now moving freely. Are these people above law. Tell me who will hold them accountable. Are they some other creatures. On the other hand inquiries have been started against the people all over the world whose names have appeared in Panama leaks”, he said this while talking to media men here on the occasion of appearing in the court.

He went on to say no PTI worker had arms then why false cases have been instituted against us. PTI workers are appearing in the courts since the last 20 months.

He underlined “tell me what offence I have committed. Those who committed crime and plundered national wealth are moving freely.

It is right of every citizen in democracy to observe protest and participate in protest, he said adding we came to street for the sake of our rights. We had asked for reopening 4 constituencies. They committed fraud and rigging in the four constituencies.
