‘We were busy”, PM Khan to take action against responsibles

Islamabad , December 04 (Online): Prime Minister has ‘decided’ to layoff an official out two officials responsible for releasing advertisement “We were busy” in connection with 100 days completion of the PTI government, credible sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that the prime minister was unhappy with the advertisement and has allegedly decided to suspend one of the officials, out of two, who were responsible for releasing the advertisement. The ad was released by the ministry of information on the eve of 100 days of the PTI government. The sources added that Senator Faisal Javed and PM Advisor on Media Iftikhar Durrani were involved in the designing of the ad. More pertinent is that they didn’t consult Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on the advertisement.
They said when a question was thrown to information minister regarding the advertisement he refused to respond saying that he wasn’t consulted over the advertisement. It is pertinent to mention here that the information minister and PM advisor on media had difference over the media policy.
There is possibility that strong debate will be witnessed in the next Parliament session. The sources said that the prime minister had saved millions of rupees from the Prime Minister House but his advisors had spent them on an advertisement.
