Washington: Pakistan has always been trying to tranquilize United States in war on terrorism but the US has been kept on saying ‘Do More’.
Pakistan has been continuously facing serious troubles in the outcomes of war on terror but now the US has proved that it is not with Pakistan as far as the terrorism is concerned.
In a blunt statement by the foreign office of the US, the US has issued a warning to Pakistan that it will act alone to disrupt and destroy terror related activities and networks and will not wait for Pakistan.
The statement revealed here on Sunday in which it has been exposed that Pakistan’s spy agency Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) is not acting against terrorism on its own soil.
The statement says, “We carry on urging our partners in Pakistan to go after terrorist networks in Pakistan. We are with them but there should be no doubt that while we remain committed to working with Pakistan to tackle terrorist financing and operations, the US will not hesitate to act alone, when necessary, to disrupt and destroy these networks.
“Pakistanis have themselves often been the dupes of brutal terrorist attacks on schools, markets and mosques. And in the face of such violence, Pakistan has in some ways pushed back,” Adam Szubin, Acting under Secretary on Countering the Financing of Terrorism, told.
“Pakistan has gained success in its operations against terrorist places. It has officially designated ISIL as a terrorist organization. And it has gone after the funding and operational capabilities of TTP,” he said.
