US actress Lilo meets Erdogan, Syrian girl blogger

Istanbul: US actress Lindsay Lohan has met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Syrian blogger girl Bana al-Abed in Turkey, the Turkish presidency reported. 

In a recent picture, she has been found in presidential palace standing with Tayyip Erdogan and embracing the Syrian blogger.

It is pertinent to mention here that Lindsay Lohan was given warm welcome on social media a couple of weeks earlier when she wrote on her Instagram page ‘Alaikum Salam’, an Islamic way of greeting someone and Islamic social world understood that she had converted to Islam.

Moreover, she hadn’t said anything regarding her conversion and kept silent.

In addition to, the Syrian blogger shared her video on social website Twitter and Lindsay commented on it saying: “We want to send to all of the people in Syria and Aleppo suffering, and to all the refugees, we are here supporting you and you can hang on and be strong. Just like Bana has.”

Sharing the picture on her Twitter account, Bana wrote: “Meeting with my friends @rt_erdogan, Emine and @lindsaylohan to support the people of Syria.”

It is noteworthy here that Lilo had expressed her support for Ankara in order to host millions of Syrian refugees.

On this event, Lilo gifted light-blue badges to Turkish president and his wife with a quote written on them: “World is bigger than five,” according to Anadolu.

This quote is a reference to five permanent United Nations members- Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States.

Lohan has struggled with drug addiction and has had numerous run-ins with the law and was sentenced in 2013 to 240 hours of community service for reckless driving and lying to police following a 2012 car accident in Santa Monica, the news agency reported.
