Two soldiers martyred during army operation, Swabi

Rawalpindi: The security forces on Tuesday conducted an intelligence based operation in Malikabad area of Sawabi District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) during which two soldiers were martyred while five militants were also killed.

Those who embraced martyrdom are Captain Junaid and Sepoy Amjad.

The two were among Army party conducting an intelligence-based operation in Malikabad area of Swabi, reports Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), a military media wing.

On Sunday night, five Pakistani soldiers were martyred when militants from across the Durand Line (Pak-Afghan border) attacked three Pakistani posts in Mohmand Agency.

Pakistan Army has launched the country-wide operation Raddul Fasaad against militants to eliminate latent threats of terrorism in Pakistan. The operation was announced last month after facing the new emerging layer of terrorism in Pakistan which killed over 120 all over the country.
