It is because ARY News office situated in F-7 area in Islamabad came under the terrorist attack when the two people on motorcycle threw a bomb inside the office in evening. As per reported by the ARY News, one of their worker got injured as a result of the attack and the building of office is badly damaged. According to the news giant, the attackers also left pamphlets-type-letters in the office declaring a threat type message.


The terrorist organisation Daesh of Afghanistan division accepted the responsibility of the attack.  According to the pamphlet, it was reported that this attack is on ARY News due to its coverage of Zarb-e-Azboperation and mainly to side with Pakistan Army.

Pakistan Tehreek -e- Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan also reached the spot along with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Jehangir Khan Tareen and other PTI leaders. He said he arrived here to show the support to media.

Imran Khan said, “I have come here to show me support to media because media has laid many sacrifices.”He recalled the moment when despite of strong gas shelling during the sit-in of PTI and PAT, the cameramen and media personalities were there to cover the incident. He also said that there is remarkable decrease in the terrorism in the last one year.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Sheikh Rasheed, Siraj ul-Haq, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi and Chaudhry Shujat Hussain condemned the attack. Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari also condemned the attack.
