Three terrorists executed in Sahiwal jail, says ISPR

Rawalpindi: Another three terrorist were hanged on Wednesday in High-Security Prison, Sahiwal, says Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The three convicts who were involved in heinous offenses relating to terrorism including attacks on Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies were trialed by military courts.

Details of Convicts:

  • Said Zaman Khan, son of Said Nawas Khan, was involved in attacks on and armed forces and law enforcement personnel resulting in death and injuries to soldiers, as well as damaging government property. He was an active member of Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami.
  • Shawaleh, son of Gul Khan, was involved in attacks on and armed forces and law enforcement personnel resulting in death and injuries to soldiers. He was an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
  • Muhammad Zeeshan, son of Abdul Qayyum Khan was involved in attacks on and armed forces and law enforcement personnel resulting in death and injuries to soldiers. He was an active member of Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami.

Military courts have awarded 161 death sentences out of which 21 convicts have been executed.
