It is in human nature that if he/she meets a breakup with his/her partner (married or not), the one would have curiosity to know what the ex is doing.
Therefore, instead of hiring spies for the reason, now social media is a better option to keep an eye on the ex. Maximum people do this to know the activities of the ex.
Facebook, the social media giant, has a huge number of users across the world. The ex after their breakups, stalk their ex’s profile to keep an eye on them. However, now, it has been revealed that one should not stalk the ex’s profile as it is not psychologically good.
It can create untold psychological suffering. For the reason, Facebook has also introduced a tool which will help the people to see less from their ex.
“We’re starting to test these tools today in the US on mobile, and we’ll make changes and roll them out further based on people’s feedback. All of these tools are optional, and people will be able to access them in the help center anytime. This work is part of our ongoing effort to develop resources for people who may be going through difficult moments in their lives.
We hope these tools will help people end relationships on Facebook with greater ease, comfort and sense of control,” stated the Product Manager, Kelly Winters.
The research found that this sort of inspection was associated with ‘greater distress over the breakup, protracted longing for an ex-partner, more negative feelings towards and sexual desire for the ex, and lower personal growth’.
The stalking can cause emotional instability to the stalker too.
Therefore, one must not stalk his/her ex in order to stay healthy and normal in the situation.
