ARY News office situated in F-7 area in Islamabad has just come under the terrorist attack when the two people on motorcycle threw a bomb inside the office in evening.
As per reported by the ARY News, one of their worker got injured as a result of the attack and the building of office is badly damaged.
According to the new giant, the attackers also left pamphlets-type-letters in the office declaring a threat type message.
The terrorist organisation Daesh of Afghanistan division accepted the responsibility of the attack.
According to the pamphlet, it is said that this attack is on ARY News due to its coverage of Zarb-e-Azb operation and mainly to side with Pakistan Army.
Pakistan Tehreek -e- Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan just reached the spot along with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Jehangir Khan Tareen and other PTI leaders. He said he arrived here to show the support to media.
PTI leader Jehangir Khan Tareen said, “Daesh has become an umbrella and it is still known clear whether it exists in Pakistan or not.”
Imran Khan said, “I have come here to show me support to media because media has laid many sacrifices.” He recalled the moment when despite of strong gas shelling during the sit-in of PTI and PAT, the cameramen and media personalities were there to cover the incident. He also said that there is remarkable decrease in the terrorism in the last one year.
Imran Khan felt shocked at listening the presence of Daesh or ISIS in Pakistan as most of the intelligence agencies have rejected its presence. Imran Khan admired the efforts of Pakistan Army and highlighted that there is a great responsibility on police also.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that it is point that must be learnt that terrorist not only exist in tribal areas but also in Karachi and Islamabad.
Information Minister Pervez Rasheed reached the spot of incident and said that the enemy of media is the enemy of government, judiciary and everything. He added that the enemy is mutual of everyone and “We are determined on our ideology.”
MQM Leader Rashid Godail reached the spot and condemned the attack and said that the voice of right can never be suppressed.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Sheikh Rasheed, Siraj ul-Haq, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi and Chaudhry Shujat Hussain condemned the attack. Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari also condemned the attack.
