Syeda Amera’s Fashion Show to be Take Place in Middle of Ocean

Syeda Amera, a Pakistani designer is getting the most novel showcase in Australia.

Amera has been invited to join in, in the J Spring Fashion Show, which will take place in the middle of the ocean. Amazing, no?

The modle/event designer Jessica Minh Anh whose newest runway that will cut through the sky-high sundeck of luxurious Costa Luminosa cruise ship, that is in Sydney is specifically designing the show. The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House will form the backdrop of the striking runway. This amazing show will take place on March 14.

Jessica Minh Anh is well-known for transforming the world’s iconic locations and landmarks into a truly remarkable runways. Her famous works include150 meter circuit on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower and a glass bridge that is 4,000 ft. above the Grand Canyon.

Jessica has also organized runways at London’s Tower Bridge,One World Trade Centre in New York City and the Seine in Paris. She also models in all shows she produces.

This is not the first time that Amera has worked with Jessica Minh Anh; she has previously shown her designs on the catwalks on Gemasolar power plant in Seville, Spain and the Hudson River in New York.

Jessica said, “Syeda Amera’s work is very fascinating. Her intricate floor-length dresses with bold colors and off-the-shoulder necklines truly flatter a woman’s body. At the same time, I believe that Syeda Amera herself embodies the image of a strong, modern and a confident woman. I can’t think of a better representative for South Asia in the show.”

Syeda Amera, who is known for her crystal-studded dresses, will be showing her latest S/S 2016 collection at the J Spring Fashion Show.

Amera will be joined by 5 other designers, including, Lebanese talent Rouba.G, Romanian brand Chotronette, Elie Saab’s protégé Jad Ghandour and the Australia’s very own brand Begitta. And also a ready-to-wear collection by Beverley Riverina of Black Hills, New Zealand.
