In a high-level meeting on Thursday at the Central Police Office, alarming figures were presented. Over 100,000 proclaimed offenders currently reside in Sindh.
The meeting was conducted by the Inspector General A.D Khawaja. Statistics show that more than 46000 of those offenders are in Larkana only.
The Inspector General showed great displeasure over the statistics and was highly disappointed in the DIG of Larkana. He has ordered a crack down to arrest all the criminals.
On observing the situation, Karachi, Larkana, and Sukkur are facing a high security threat. The police force in these cities has been given an order to be vigilant and to take extraordinary measures if they engage in a situation.
Traffic chaos in Karachi has also been discussed at this meeting. Traffic police officers are to be present from noon until late evening on the roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the month of Ramadan.
