Shahbaz Sharif to be Arrested Soon, According to Sources

According to sources, it is a prevalent conviction among Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) cronies that Shahbaz Sharif, President of PML-N and brother of the convicted Nawaz Sharif, would be arrested and sent to jail very soon. Despite the fact he has been nominated for the seat of PM unanimously by the opposition, the impending doom of the younger Sharif is near. There are serious allegations against him under Hudaibia Mill and Model Town cases. And, rest assured, cases against him in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) are in the final stages.

At the moment, Pakistan Muslim League-Noon (PML-N) is actively planning to will produce badges with Mian Nawaz Sharif’s photo for all its elected members of both provincial and national assemblies to wear during the oath-taking session of Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader, as Prime Minister-elect; and in subsequent parliamentary sessions as well. These badges will be distributed to PML-N followers all over Pakistan.

In GE-2018, PML-N lost its political supremacy to PTI and can’t exert the kind of political control in the parliament which it used to exert in the past, especially in Punjab. Many political giants of PML-N have been ousted from the parliament with the power of the vote. Ironically, Sharif’s slogan of Honour the Vote “vote ko izzat do” has worked against him and his party.

Pertinent to note here that Nawaz Sharif has been convicted in the Avenfield Reference Case of assets beyond means for which he is serving his terms of 11 years along with his daughter Maryam Safdar Nawaz (8 years) and his Son-in-Law Captain (R) Safdar Nawaz (1 year) in Adiyala Jail. For details, read the appended articles at the end.

Along with the badges, PML-N parliamentarians will also wear black stripes or armbands during oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, as Prime Minister-elect in a few days from now.

According to a source, next in line will be Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former PM. Son-in-law of Shahbaz Sharif, Imran Ali, has been declared absconder by the court today and Hamza Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif’s Son, will be focused soon by NAB for his alleged crimes in Saaf Pani and many other scandals.
