Lahore: Pakistani drama queen Saba Qamar, is now all set to start work on her first Bollywood movie.
Last year she played Noor-e-Jehan, in her debut film “Manto” and her performance was widely appreciated.
Bollywood star Irrfan Khan will play male lead role in the movie. The movie, reportedly, has a story just like Deepika Padukone’s “Piku,” in which the female lead role is dominating. The movie will be in the fun and slice-of-life space.
According to details, her debut Bollywood film is a family oriented movie which features the tale of relationship between a husband and wife.
The movie will be produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar under the umbrella of Illuminati Films, while the director of ‘pyaar de side effects’ Saket Chaudhry will direct the movie.
Currently, Qamar is busy in shooting her second Pakistani film named ‘Lahore Say Agay’,which is the sequel of ‘Karachi Se Lahore’.
Qamar has been one of the most talented actresses of Pakistan’s entertainment industry, who has showcased her acting chops in several TV plays as well as in films.
As per details the filming commences in August this year.
