‘Rulers sayings on Panama leaks self-contradictory’: Siraj
Islamabad: Ameer of Jamat-e Islami (JI) Siraj-ul Haq has said that the statements of rulers on Panama Papers leaks are at odds, the sources revealed.
Their statements are contradictory because they want the people to forget the history’s biggest fraud, he added.
“The statements of the rulers regarding Panama probe are conflicting as the current assets of rulers differ from the assets they had in 2013, JI ameer said this while talking to reporters here on Friday.
Siraj ul Haq told the media persons that the source of income for purchasing the London flats has not been revealed in any statement. It has also not been informed whether this amount was transferred from Pakistan or from Saudi Arabia. He went on to say that PPP was confused on Panama-gate scandal.
“We are also giving suggestions to Bilawal-led party and showing them a way to Supreme Court to record their stance, Siraj asserted adding some people are worried that opposition parties will also come under panama leaks case.
“Some people want one-sided traffic should run but this will not be done because accountability would be done across the board”, he maintained.
Now time has come to separate crimes and politics, he remarked. If someone faces allegations then his respective party should not keep him in the party unless he is proven innocent, he concluded.
