Robert Downey Jr. waiting the filming of ‘Sherlock Holmes’ to start in 2016

Famous detective movie of Sherlock Holmes is famous among everyone in the world. After the great response to Sherlock Holmes 1 and two as both were big hits in the box office, so fans naturally expected the third movie. “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” the second installment of the movie series, premiered in 2011.

Fans expected the third movie to follow suit in a couple of years but received no news or whatsoever about it.
The actor Robert Downey Jr. revealed in an interview that “Sherlock Holmes 3” may soon be happening and he is eager to film it.

“We’re talking about it right now,” the actor said. Downey Jr. is reportedly looking forward to working with director Guy Ritchie and co-actor Jude Law, who played the character, Dr. John Watson, Sherlock’s sidekick.
If we could shoot it on Skype, we could have the whole movie done in a week, said the actor. When we’re making those ‘Sherlock’ movies, it is off the hook. So we’ll attempt to make one this year. It is a big deal to go and do those movies. I’m tired all the time, but I’m so excited about it.

Robert Downey Jr is currently doing the interview rounds for Captain America: Civil War, and he’s confirmed that a third Sherlock Holmes big screen adventure is edging closer. “We’re talking about it right now,” he told Shortlist.

I can’t wait. I know Guy Ritchie loves me as much as I love him – and he damn well should. When we’re making those Sherlock movies, it is off the hook.

Last year Sherlock Holmes franchise producer/co-writer Lionel Wigram updated IGN on the status of the script, which was announced to be co-written by him and Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) back in 2011.
