Revolt about to ‘bowl out’ KP CM
PESHAWAR: Dissindent Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly, have summoned a meeting on Friday (today) in order to announce revolt against KP Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Khatak.
The MPAs have planned PTI’s conventions following Imran Khan’s 13-point reform agenda to bring real change in KP.
In these conventions, they would announce a revolt against the victimization of PTI lawmakers at the hands of Khatak.
A PTI lawmaker on the condition of anonymity confirmed the meeting would be held on Friday at the residence of PTI MNA Kheyal Zaman Bangash in Hayatabad.
The lawmakers are opposing Pervaiz Khatak for victimizing them, and reducing funds and other privileges, he added.
According to him, PTI workers and members are outraged with Pervaiz Khatak’s discriminatory behavior and therefore are going to launch campaign against him.
According to the sources, the KP CM is sidelining PTI chairperson Imran Khan in several matters through well-planned tactics and many provincial ministers have dragged in to corrupt practices, he said.
The lawmaker exposed that corruption is at its peak in many government departments while KP CM Perviaz Khatak and his cabinet have turned a blind eye to it.
He informed that they would plan a strategy against the CM and would inform the PTI chairperson about his corrupt practices, he added.
