Karachi: Rear Admiral Kaleem Shaukat on Wednesday took charge as Commander Pakistan Navy Fleet.
According to a Pakistan Navy spokesperson, Shaukat took charge as Commander Pakistan Navy Fleet in magnificent change of command ceremony organized at Naval Dockyard, Karachi.
Outgoing commander Arifullah Hussaini handed over the charge of the office to Rear Admiral Kaleem Shaukat; he was also presented by guard of honour in the ceremony.

Shaukat is a graduate of National Defence University, Islamabad and Armed Forces College, Turkey.
He served at the post of Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff at Naval Headquarters (NHQ). He also served as Commander Task Force 151 and Commander Central Punjab and Commandant PN War College.
Shuakat also served as Defence Attache of Pakistan in Qatar; he was also honoured with Hilal-e-Imtiaz for his services.
