Rangers recover cache of weapons from outskirts of Karachi
Karachi: Sindh Rangers claimed to have recovered a cache of weapons and mass destruction material from the outskirts of the city.
According to the paramilitary force, the weapons have been recovered from a house in Musharraf Colony in Baldia Town as a result of a raid.
The recovered underground hidden weapons include a G3, five SMGs, two 8mm rifles, 14 magazines and 5,000 rounds.
Separately, as many as five people including four brothers have been killed in Central Karachi when they were holding a majlis (get together) outside of their home and two motorcyclists opened fire at them.
Many other people have also been wounded in the incident, who have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The police reached the scene and collected shells of 9mm pistols. Later, the police said it might be a case of sectarian terrorism. The AIG of Central Karachi has ordered the police concerned to probe the case and put the culprits into jail as soon as possible.
