Qandeel Baloch’s family forced to vacate the home due to unpaid rent

The parents of assassinated model Qandeel Baloch are forced to leave the rental home due to extreme poverty.

Fozia Azeem who changed her name to “Qandeel Baloch” was slaughtered by her brother in the name of honor killing in July 2016.

Qandeel’s father, while speaking to the reporters, said that after the death of Qandeel they were unable to pay house rent which was taken care of by Qandeel herself.

According to the parents, Qandeel was the only bread winner of her family. Azeem, Qandeel’s father said “she was not only supporting us but also her brother who killed her.”

Now they can not afford the rent so they have decided to move back to their ancestral home in Shah Shardar Town, Dera Ghazi Khan.

Both parents were trying to save their son who killed their daughter and police registered a criminal case against Azeem and his wife in this regard earlier in January.

Speaking to media, they denied the accusations.
