Russian President Vladimir Putin took it to judo mat on Friday in order to spend his winter vacations and at the age of 63-year, he looked surprisingly active in the game.
Putin showed off his judo skills amid a training match along with the national team’s judo coach. The president spent his New Year Eve with his family however, then went to Sochi in South-western Russia where spent his days grooming the sports skills.
Vladimir Putin competed Musa Mogushkov who is a member of the Russian Judo team, amid their training session in a resort city of Sochi. After which he practiced with coach Ezio Gamba also. Putin presented an amazing show of strength.
National Television also showed parts of the training.
Putin also granted the Italian coach Gamba a Russian passport and lauded him for heading the judo team to ‘surprising results and remarkable success in the 2012 London Olympics’.
