Rawalpindi, August 30, (Online): Punjab government has decided to outsource sanitation system in three allied hospitals including Benazir  Bhutto General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, and District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Provincial government will also scale up existing funds in this regard to improve the cleanliness system in hospitals.

It is pertinent to say that in these three allied hospitals the prevailing  system of cleanliness is not satisfactory. In Hospital wards including OPDs , emergency and other there is  no proper sanitation system in place and the major reason behind is stated to be inflow of patients in these hospitals beyond capacity and unprecedented rise in the arrival of their family members.

This state of affairs is hampering implementation of ideal sanitation system in the hospitals.
