PTI to hit streets if ToRs commission not formed: Imran
Islamabad (Online): Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has stated that his party will hit the streets if commission on ToRs was not formed.
He stated this while talking to PTI’s senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who called him on Sunday.
During the meeting, Qureshi informed the party’s head about the development made in the meetings of parliamentary committee on
ToRs, matters pertaining to interim setup of the party and campaign against corruption in Sindh.
While informing PTI’s Chief Imran Khan about the details of ToRs committee, Qureshi said that there is not benefit of further participation in the committee while Imran Khan has expressed his severe concern over the attitude of existing government.
PTI’s chief further said that consultation with party leaders to evolve a future strategy regarding panama leaks is going on and attempts to put the panama leaks matter under the carpet would never be succeeded.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi advised him to part ways from ‘useless’ parliamentary committee tasked to devise Terms of References of
commission to probe Panama Papers. The PTI vice chairman claimed that the government is not serious in chalking out ToR that would also be acceptable for opposition parties, the sources said.
