PTI leader suffers heart attack during police arrest
Islamabad: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) Bait Ullah suffered a heart attack and severe chest pain during the police arrest.
The sources said that his angioplasty has been completed in PIMS hospital Islamabad
Bail Ullah said that he was shifted to PIMS hospital 33 hours after the heart attack.
“When we reached Adiyala Jail hospital, I suffered the heart attack and severe chest and arm pain and was shifted to PIMS hospital after 33 hours”, he maintained.
“I know how I happened to bear the heart attack pain for 33 hours. At that time, I prayed to God for not giving such pain to anyone else”, he said adding no one can bear such monolithic chest pain.
He added that doctor Akhtar suggested other doctors treating him on urgent basis because his heart was working only 20 per cent. “Now, I am quite better but still unable to stand up”, he maintained.
