Lahore: Former Test captain and Charmian Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan said Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should give out free tickets to spectators at enclosure named after him.
Khan said that management should not charge high charges from spectators and asked that tickets should be made free of cost for Imran Khan enclosure.
He said: “It is unfair to charge Rs. 12,000 per ticket when cricket is returning to the country after long period of time.”
PTI leader, Fawwad Chaudhry had also confirmed the wish of Khan and said he wanted that people should be provided free of cost tickets at the enclosure named after him in Gaddafi Stadium.
He also said that the mega event has been made for elite class due to high cost of tickets.
Earlier, Imran Khan had strongly opposed the decision of holding Pakistan Super League 2017 final in Lahore.
The final is to be played on Sunday, March 5 between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiotrs.
