PTI to boycott tomorrow’s APC: Khan
Bani Gala: Chairperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that his party boycotts the joint session of All Parties Conference (APC) going to be held tomorrow.
He was talking at a press conference here on Tuesday evening at his residence, Bani Gala.
Imran Khan added that purpose of joint session of APC is something to announce our solidarity with Kashmir people while he has announced that in his Raiwind march already so there is nothing more to do in APC meeting.
He asserted that he sent Shah Mahmood Qureshi to today’s session of all parliamentarian parties’ heads at PM House in order to show PTI’s solidarity with the Kashmir people.
We are not going to attend APC meeting because we don’t endorse Nawaz Sharif as prime mnister of Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif is no more PM of Pakistan because he has been caught red-handed, Khan added.
Before this, a core committee meeting of PTI members was held in Bani Gala under the headship of cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan, in which they decided to block Pakistan’s capital city Islamabad on 30 October.
It is pertinent to mention here that on 30 September, Imran Khan had announced to block Islamabad in order to pressurize Nawaz Sharif for presenting him before the investigative institutions of the government.
In every democratic country of the world, a speaker of the parliament is always impartial. But in Pakistan, the speaker is taking sides of the party in the government.
He informed that when Public Accounts Committee summoned all the chairmen of several departments, they said that they didn’t have any strong legal philosophy to take action against Nawaz Sharif regarding Panama Papers issue.
He expressed his feelings that Nawaz Sharif was dividing our nation in three parts and CPEC is one of them. He added that small provinces have reservations against CPEC route.
Imran Khan asked the question from media persons that where had been Nawaz Sharif when Uri attack was carried out? The PTI chairperson said that PM Nawaz Sharif is weakening all the departments in order to protect its looted money.
At the end of the press conference, Imran Khan went on to say that he gave two options to Nawaz Sharif. He can resign from the National Assembly seat and another PMLN member can contest for PM slot. And second option Khan gave for Nawaz Sharif was presenting himself before the investigative agencies of Pakistan.
