PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal demands strict action against fatal kite string

Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal demanded stern action against manufacturers of fatal kite strings.

On Monday, PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal visited Baseem Khan’s house, a child who was died by kite string laced with sharp powdered glass, and condoled with his family in New Karachi. He expressed great sorrow and lashed out at the provincial government saying that he never saw such incompetent rulers anywhere except Sindh.

A six-year-old boy died after his throat was slit by a stray kite string in New Karachi’s Sector 5-D. Bilal Colony SHO Mohsin said the tragic incident took place near Kaala School in Sector 5-D. Muhammad Baseem, son of Kashif, was flying a kite on the rooftop of his house when a kite’s metal string slashed his throat and he started bleeding profusely, his family members told police. The boy was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

While criticising the incumbent government in Sindh, PSP chairman said worse than jungle law prevailed in the metropolis Karachi. Mustafa Kamal said that resolution of Karachi issues lies in his 16-points. He said the deceased child’s life could be saved if there was any hospital in New Karachi and North Karachi.
