A six-year-old boy died after his throat was slit by a stray kite string in New Karachi’s Sector 5-D. Bilal Colony SHO Mohsin said the tragic incident took place near Kaala School in Sector 5-D. Muhammad Baseem, son of Kashif, was flying a kite on the rooftop of his house when a kite’s metal string slashed his throat and he started bleeding profusely, his family members told police. The boy was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
While criticising the incumbent government in Sindh, PSP chairman said worse than jungle law prevailed in the metropolis Karachi.
