Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has become active for investigation into the Panama Leaks.
PPP has constituted a four-member comprising leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Saeed Ghani and Ejaz Jakhrani.
The new formed committee would hold consultations on Panama Leaks and the prevailing political situation in the country.
Sources said the committee will present proposal to political parties for formation of parliamentary committee.
In a statement, Syed Khursheed Shah said that his party has decided not to participate in the sit-in in Raiwind announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He said the party is going to hold consultations with other political parties and devise a strategy.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Qaumi Watan Party have agreed to form commission headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan to investigate into the disclosures by Panama Papers.
This was announced here on Friday after a meeting between PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi and head of Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao at his residence.
