PM, Imran Khan, Nominates Usman Gazdar as CM Punjab

Amidst all the rumors and speculations, the much-awaited nomination for the CM Punjab is out, and it’s out with a big bang. Sardar Usman Buzdar, elected from PP 286, Dera Ghazi Khan, from PTI’s ticket, has been nominated by PM Imran Khan for the post of Chief Minister (CM) Punjab.

Buzdar hails from the poorest part of Tonsa Sharif and his appointment is a complete surprise for all those who have been weaving conspiracy theories and were doubting the decision-making capacity of PM Imran Khan to nominate the CM of the largest province of Pakistan.

PTI nominee Buzdar was the member of PML-Q from 2002-08, joined and contested election from PML-N ticket in 2013 but lost to a PPP candidate.

Buzdar joined PTI in 2018.
