Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shahryar Khan has reportedly reversed his resignation decision after meeting Najam Sethi.
The meeting was held at PCB headquarter in Lahore.
PCB chairman Shahryar Khan, who had decided to step down as PCB head, and was to announce his decision in press conference, has now reversed it after meeting with head of PCB’s governing body.
According to sources Najam Sethi held an hour long meeting and convinced him not to resign or the moment being.
Media reports now suggest that Shahryar Khan has held his decision, he might not announce resignation in the press conference later in the evening.
Previously, reports were making rounds that a close friend of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and senior diplomat from PM house has asked Shahryar Khan to leave his post.
“Things are not going your way, it is better for you to step down,” message.
“Every decision of PM is acceptable for me,” Shahryar replied.
However, Najam Sethi has assured Shahryar Khan to tackle all the matters himself including PM house, media and Committee’s recommendations.
