Pakistan sets Guinness Record by creating World’s largest cookie mosaic
Peek Freans Sooper creates world’s largest cookie mosaic flag to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence day through their campaign ‘Sooper hy Pakistan’.
Sooper biscuit by Peek Freans is claimed to be the national biscuit of Pakistan. It is loved and consumed throughout the country. It has indulged itself in successful campaigns during the past two decades and helped to bring the nation together through its fruitful initiatives.
This august, the company started a campaign ‘Sooper hy Pakistan’ and also released a mesmerizing TVC along to celebrate with high spirits. The EBM family joined hands to do something exciting this time around and it was to create a Guinness World record by shaping the biggest ever cookie mosaic as Pakistan’s flag.
The team comprised of more than two hundred members, the number of Sooper cookies used was above 150,000 and it took 6.5 hours to get the task done. It seemed somewhat impossible to be honest but everyone worked with high zeal and fervor. The flag was 226.51 metres long. It was definitely a tiring task and deserves a huge round of applause.
It was probably the best way to celebrate the country’s big day. The colourful event took place at Islamabad with International media coverage and many Pakistani big names, making it even more luminous. Younis Khan, Adnan Siddiqui, Osman Khalid Butt, Hareem Farooq, Mira Sethi, Anoushey Ashraf and Shoaib Akhtar were some of the popular faces seen enjoying the task arranged by Peek Freans Sooper.
While the big question is how did they resist cookie craving while taking this challenge? How did the cookie monster inside them sleep peacefully during all this time?
All in all, the event was fully lit and nothing but a lovely gift to the nation. We are absolutely proud of who we are. We give a big thumbs up to Peek Freans Sooper for taking this courageous step and getting our country’s name inked in the Guiness Book of World Records.
Last but not the least, all the cookies were donated to charitable organizations as the company didn’t aim to waste food and money just for gleam and glamour.
No doubt – Sooper hai Pakistan!
