Pakistan First International Standard Zoo Unveils in Karachi

Pakistan first international standard, a day and night zoo, named ‘Dan Zoo’, has been inaugurated in the Bahria Town, Karachi. A large number of people including famous personalities belonging to the business, showbiz, sports and media attended the event. The Bahria Town COO Admiral (retd) Ahmad Hayat was the chief guest. Special arrangements were made at Dan Zoo by Bahria town Karachi management for making this ceremony a memorable event for all times to come.

After cutting the inaugural ribbon, the Bahria Town COO said the Dan Zoo is a main addition to the  recreation points of Karachi’s . He said that goal of Bahria Town is community good lifestyle and healthy recreation. He said establishment of Pakistan’s first day and night zoo would give a chance to the residents of Bahria Town to enjoy the beautiful evenings of the coastal city.

Ahmad Hayat said a large number of local and exotic animals have been kept in the Dan zoo. They include the White lion, African lion, Cheetah, Asian black bear, Bengal tiger, Asian black bear various type of deer, crocodile, ostrich, peacocks and several types of ducks kept in the beautiful surroundings. Spread over 70 acres, Dan Zoo, has been divided into several large areas and each part has been assigned name of an animal. The visitors could also use ‘Wild on Wheels’ that employs golf.
