Lahore: Punjab Police arrested over 50 suspects from different parts of province as it intensified its crackdown against terrorists.
The crackdown launched after the Lahore blast which killed 76 on Sunday.
In a search operation in factory area Sargodha, police arrested 43 suspects.
Police also searched seminaries and hostels in Chiniot and arrested 10 people.
According to police, the suspects belonged to Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
A proclaimed offender Khurram Butt was arrested from Lahore on Friday, police said.
On Wednesday At least sixty-six suspects including ten Afghan nationals and three facilitators of terrorists were arrested in different areas of Peshawar and Charsadda districts.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
Earlier Punjab Police and other law enforcement agencies have held over 5000 people in the province.
