With Barrack Obama’s presidency ending, a question have been creating a hype among the people that where would he and his family settle down after their time at White House ends. The President of US, Barack Obama finally answered the burning and a rather provocative question of where Obama and his family will resettle. The details however are ambiguous at the moment.
Obama said that they would be staying in Washington, D.C. when their time at White House is over, so his youngest daughter, Sasha can finish her high school in peace. President Obama claimed that the transfer in the middle of a high school could be tough and tricky.
“We are going to have to stay for a couple of years so Sasha can finish,’’ said President Obama. “ Transferring someone in the middle of high school is tough,’’ he added
Barrack Obama’s family that had settled to Washington from the Chicago’s Hyde Park neighbourhood, still has not figured out that where exactly in the city will they move.
A conjecture about a potential move to the New York City spun last year when the president of Columbia University, Lee Bollinger, who is also Obama’s alma mater, said that he was “looking forward to welcome back school’s most famed alumnus.” Nevertheless, for now, their intentions remain unclear.
President Obama & family, throughout his presidency, have spent a fair amount of time in New York. It was both for the weekend getaways and for the official engagements. Malia, his elder daughter even been to New York previous summer. She was seemingly interning on the set of a HBO show “Girls.”
The Obamas also have been vacationing at Martha’s Vineyard in the Massachusetts for 2 weeks in the month of August & also, every Christmas on the president’s native island of Hawaii. However, there is no word on whether these traditions will withstand in their era of post White House.
