It was the responsibility of petroleum minister to wrote FIA to lodge investigation against petroleum companies but Khaqan did not fulfill his duty; after which Interior Minister issued orders to FIA.
Beside recovering money, investigation agency is also planned to involve Director General Oil and Director General Petroleum Concession in investigation.
According to sources, Khaqan, who is annoyed over Nisar, complained against him and called the action “interference” in petroleum ministry’s affairs.
