National Security Committee meeting concludes
Islamabad: Meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) under the headship of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif concluded here on Tuesday in which it was decided that National Action Plan would be implemented according to its true spirit.
All the chief ministers of four provinces, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and federal ministers were also present in the session.
After the meeting, the report on the meeting of NSC has been issued in which it was revealed that coordination among the stakeholders would be enhanced in order to gain the required results which had been left out by the authorities concerned.
Moreover, the NAP would be implemented across the country in its true spirit, the report suggested.
It has been decided in the meeting that the conversation and provision of intelligence would be made stronger to get the intelligence system effective.
The meeting attendees acknowledged the idea of effective communication that will be enhanced between federal and provincial governments.
Advisor to National Security has been authorized to maintain check and balance over the NAP and given authority to check the report sent by all the provinces.
Suggestions in order to get reforms in the Criminal Justice System were also discussed in the session. Moreover, sacrifices of the Pakistan armed forces were highly admired in the session.
Most importantly, it was decided in the session that the Punjab government would have to take seriously actions against the outlawed and banned organizations.
