Najam Sethi leakes Waqar Younis’s report to media: Sources

Lahore: According to reliable sources the executive committee chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi leaked the report regarding team’s performance in ICC world T20 in India.

According to sources, he is the one who leaked the report of head coach Waqar Younis to Yahya Hussaini, the sports anchor of Geo News.

Reliable sources also confirmed that Yahya had a quarrel with Waqar Younis during the post-match press talks in Australia in 2015 World Cup.

Yahya Hussaini is the one who was seen with Ex-chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Moin Khan in casino.

Sources also suggest that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is run by Sethi, Shahryar Khan wants to bring reforms, but he (Sethi) is reluctant to bring clean in PCB.

On Wednesday Waqar Younis expressed dissent against the leaking of a report he presented to Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Fact-Finding committee.

The head coach in his report claimed T20 captain Shahid Afridi’s attitude was non-serious during the Asia Cup and World T20.

Waqar also criticised the involvement of politics in the game.

“I cannot understand why there is so much politics in cricket. I think even the level of politics in the Parliament wouldn’t be this high.”

In that report Waqar has complained that Moin used to take some of his favourite boys out and gave them gifts. He said that Moin also favoured a few players over others, including Umar Akmal who he say was let off the hook several times for missing practice sessions.

Waqar concluded with a suggestion that the top management of PCB should be replaced with people who are unbiased.
