NAB to issue red warrant against Kamran Kayani in DHA land scam

LAHORE: National Accoubtability Bureau is all set to issue red warrants of Kamran Kayani if he is not willing to record his statement in the DHA land scam case.

The brother of former COAS General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani, Kamran Kayani is being pursued by NAB in a land allotment case of DHA by the owner of Globaco Pvt Ltd, Hammad Arshad.

The land scam reference presented in NAB is worth Rs 16 billion.

The record documents obtained by a news source depicts that Arshad changed his statement numerous times during interrogation.

The accused has confessed to have delivered about 120 plot files to Kayani.

On the contrary, Kayani got loan of Rs 55 crores from The Bank of Punjab in order to develop the society for the family of martyrs.

In case Kayani does not cooperate, his red warrants can be issued by the Bureau.NAB during investigation, has seized more than 17 accounts of Globaco Pvt Ltd.

Khaleeq uz Zaman, the Deputy Prosecutor general accountability, has said that they have been trying to fetch more information and records.

Kayani and Arshad have been given contracts to develop society for the families of the martyrs. Billions of rupees have been pocketed by the culprits in the currency of the contract.
