Artist David Bowie has passed on at 69 years old after a fight with growth.
His child affirmed the news and an announcement was discharged on his official online networking accounts.
“David Bowie kicked the bucket calmly today encompassed by his family following a gutsy 18-month fight with tumor,” it said.
“While large portions of you will partake in this misfortune, we ask that you regard the family’s protection amid their season of distress.”
The artist just discharged his most recent collection Blackstar on his birthday on Friday.
There had been gossipy tidbits about Bowie’s wellbeing for a considerable length of time.
His last live execution was at a New York philanthropy show in 2006.
Blackstar, which incorporates only seven tunes, has been generally welcomed by pundits.
Bowie’s leap forward accompanied 1972’s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
His hits incorporate Let’s Dance, Space Oddity, Heroes, Under Pressure, Rebel, Rebel, Life on Mars and Suffragette City.
