Musharraf’s statement, “Well done Prime Minister” shocks every one


Islamabad/Dubai: Former President and founder of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Pervez Musharraf on Friday praised the decision of government to organize Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore, said “Well done Prime Minister.”

While talking to a private media channel, Musharraf passed the statement which surprised every one. He said, he stood with the decision taken by government to play PSL final in Lahore, added, “However it would be even better, if it was organized in Karachi.”

Musharraf said that Sangakkara might not agree to travel to Lahore as Sri Lankan has faced attack in Lahore.

Former president said that Imran Khan talked injudiciously; the step, now or then, should have been taken to rehabilitate international cricket in Pakistan. He added, “then why not yet?”

He said that he appreciated the decision of playing PSL final in Lahore and said “well done Prime Minister” over it, adding, that he supported all teams.
