The police reportedly claimed that accused Mufti Abdul Qavi had gone in hiding and couldn’t be traced.
Later, Mufti Abdul Qavi informed that the police didn’t contact him and he was not hiding. He said that he remained at his seminary (madarsa).
He added that if the police calls him, he would appear before the police and offer full cooperation in solving the case of social media sensational lady, Qandeel Baloch.
Separately, the police is claiming that a team has been formed to arrest suspended member of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Abdul Qavi.
Moreover, he was nominated in the case of murder on the appeal of Qandeel Baloch’s father.
Last month, Mufti Abdul Qavi held a press conference in which he went on to say that he was not involved in the murder of Qandeel Baloch. And he had no link or communication with the Waseem, an accused murder of Qandel Baloch and being taken as the cousin of Mufti Abdul Qavi.
