As reported by the South Koran military, North Korea launched multiple land to sea missiles from its east cost.
These projectiles were launched from the city of Wonsan. This was confirmed by the South Korean Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff in a statement.
It is said that the missile flew about 200km. North Korea has been test firing its missiles weekly in response to the UN sanctions.
The South Korean military said, “North Korea fired multiple unidentified projectiles, assumed to be surface-to-ship missiles, this morning from the vicinity of Wonsan, Gangwon province.”
The launch was also confirmed by the Japanese government. The South said that the launch was immediately reported to President Moon but there was no response from him yet.
The US keeps calling for more strict sanctions and President Trump has said to respond with military action if necessary.
North Korea is preparing for a 6th nuclear test and authorities have said that North is in the making of the nuclear tipped missile to deliver to the US mainlands.

Pyongyang called the UN sanctions “mean”. North Korea has conducted multiple missile tests including two nuclear tests.
