King Khan offers KKR vs Zalmi match series

Peshawar: Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan has congratulated Javed Afridi over his success and also proposed three-match series between Peshawar Zalmi and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

According to private media channel’s report, super star and co-owner of of KKR, offered to organize match series between T-20 champions of IPL and PSL, if governments of Pakistan and India permitted.

The match would be played on neutral ground, which could be Dubai or London.

Despite India’s refusal to play bilateral series with Pakistan for many years, Afridi was hopeful about the game.

KKR is a franchise of Indian Premier League (IPL) which won the title twice, whereas, Peshawar Zalmi has recently won the title of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Earlier, Zalmi also received congratulations from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani who also invited the team to Afghanistan. The invitation was accepted by Javed Afridi, the owner of Peshawar Zalmi.

Zalmi thrashed Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs on Sunday, March 5 and lifted the trophy of PSL-2017.
