It is said that if enemy arrives home greet him with respect and treat him generously. Hospitality is deeply rooted in our culture; our people are famous in world for warmly welcoming and paying due respect to their guests, whether known or unknown.

But Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former cricketer not only defied the culture of our region but also norms of Pashtun tribe by calling foreign players, who played in Lahore, “Phateechar” and “Railo Katta” and showed racism by calling them being taken from “Africa.”

Though he is famous for his controversial statements, the recent statement of Monday night created enormous reaction and social media users also slammed him over attacking those who came to support cricket in Pakistan.

Not just this, he provided a strong ground to the the ruling party’s leaders to get their old revenge; state minister Maryam Aurangzeb also accused him of using RAW (Indian intelligence agency) language.
