Imran Khan responds to the allegation of PMLN at SKMCH

Pakistan Tehreek -e- Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan used social media giant, Twitter to reject the allegations against his charitable trust Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer and Research Hospital (SKMCH/SKMT) surfaced by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leaders.

He tweeted, “For everyone’s info, dollar 3 million of SKMT Endowment Fund that was invested abroad was received back by SKMT in full in July 2015.”

Khan added, “Anyone can check SKMT accounts to verify as they are in the public domain.”

PTI chief further said, “Typical of Sharifs to try & sidestep their wrongdoings by targeting opponents instead of answering questions raised by Panama leaks.”

Moreover, he maintained, “Shameful how Sharifs can stoop so low as to try & damage biggest charitable institution in Pakistan simply to hide their own corruption.”

Former captain of Pakistan cricket team continued tweeting, “Otherwise all Sharifs had to do was to call SKMTH to verify whether the money invested abroad had been returned,” adding, “The contradictory statements of the Sharif siblings & PM shows there is corruption & tax evasion behind it all.”

“This time Sharifs will not get away with it as ppl of Pak now demand full disclosure of their assets & where money for these originated,” he concluded.
