Imran Khan announces social boycott of PMLN’s Javed Latif

Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday has announced social boycott of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PMLN’s) MNA Javed Latif following his Thursday scuffle with PTI’s Murad Saeed.

In a series of tweets, Khan said that no member of PTI would attend any television program or public forum meeting in which Javed Latif was invited.

Relations between PTI and PMLN have always remain odd since last few years; members of both parties are always found trading jeer and taunts with each other. But rivalry went beyond its limits last day, when PTI’s Murad Saeed punched PMLN’s Javed Latif in parliament lobby. Following the incident, while talking to media, Latif passed indecent remarks about female family members of Murad Saeed.

Statement of MNA Javed Latif was condemned from all quarters, even Dr. Ahsan Iqbal, MNA of PMLN also condemned the statement.
