Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal speaking to the press on Thursday called on Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad to form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and inquiry commission to probe the allegations of corruption he levelled against Kamal a day earlier.
“I demand the formation of a JIT. Ishratul Ibad is the governor. He should make the JIT.
“I am not afraid of anyone,” he said, adding that the Sindh governor ─ who he referred to as ‘Rishwatul Ibad’ ─ was trying to hide his misdeeds.
“He took the names of the chief of army staff, corps commander, DG Rangers and said ‘We are all on the same page’,” Kamal said.
“Ishratul Ibad is trying to hide his misdeeds by shielding himself with their credibility,” he alleged.
The Sindh governor during a press conference on Wednesday termed Kamal “a dishonourable, mean, low and bipolar” man, alleging that the PSP chief indulged in massive corruption during his tenure as Karachi mayor.
