Govt should stamp out terrorists nurseries: Khurshid Shah

Islamabad: Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said the government should eliminate nurseries of terrorists to stop further bloodshed in the country.

While talking to media here Monday, Shah strongly condemned the Lahore suicide attack and demanded of the government to root out nurseries of terrorists to protect life and property.

“Pakistan used to be peaceful country in the region and religion was not an issue. We condemn terror acts in the name of religion,” he said.

Shah also demanded that the government convened an in-camera session to brief parliamentarian on the arrest of RAW agent from Balochistan.

He said that the government and security agencies should dismantle the RAW network in the country and bring its agents to justice.

While talking about the latest ransacking in Islamabad, he said it was the right of every one to protest peacefully but ransacking of public property was not acceptable.

He said that the protesters entered the Red Zone in Islamabad due to the negligence of the government and the local administration.
