Game of Thrones is an American fantasy television drama series created by show-runners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is basically a form of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled A Game of Thrones.

The series attracted record numbers of viewers on HBO and gained an extraordinary fan base. It also attained a widespread outrage by critics, specifically over its acting, story and production values. Moreover, the nudity, sexual violence and aggression also had to bear criticism.
